My name is Mirang and I'm from a small tropical island called Palau. I move to the US to obtain an education but instead I picked up a horrible lifestyle. In the first year I gained 15lbs and everyone said that was normal but it didn't feel normal I felt sick. I've lived here for 4years and I'm almost done with my education but as I gain a degree I also lose my health. I hate how I feel. I’m tired all the time, stressed out, upset most of the time, and my body looks horrible. I learn about the website through Freelee’s youtube videos. I saw “How to get FAT & Stay FAT? (ironic)” and it was funny but yet eye openning! I’ve tried a few things but nothing improves my health. I have health issues and I’ve been to different doctors who all seem to cram me with pills but nothing helps. I need a new lifestyle, one I will love and be happy with, and I thing low fat Vegan is it.

To be honest it's been so long since I've done something I enjoy on my pastime. I feel like a mindless slave. When I'm not at work, I'm at school, and when I'm not doing either I eat junk infront of a tv. I want to get out of this mind set but I'm not sure how.

I'm sorry to hear about your water troubles. I'm glad that it will get you to save water though as it may be important down the road. I've gotten 3 days down and it's going great! The one thing that I'm doing though that makes all the difference in the world is brown rice and some cooked vegetables. I have mostly had smoothies, juices, and brown rice and haven't felt 'without' at all! Of course I've been eating like crap (vegetarian crap) until this point. Are you doing well other than the water? Let's get some videos up!
Thank for your friendship fellow newbie and Oregonian! We don't live too far apart : ) We'll have to get together and eat fruit sometime! I so know what it's like going to school and working. On the bright side, this is simple raw, fruit in it's own packaging! Have you started yet? I just started today for my own little (big) 30 challenge but, I'm adding brown rice with Braggs liquid aminos... so yummy!
