Hello everyone, I am a new member, been scoping out the place for a few weeks, getting some things in order. Right now I am probably 80-90% raw, I still have whole grains and cooked potatoes. I am…Continue

I feel Fing great today.

I think this is probably the best I've felt in my entire life. For some reason... I just feel amazing. Nothing can bring me down. In fact, there is more stress at my work now than ever, and I just feel amazing. I feel great. It's really spectacular.

Sorry, Just wanted to update with this. Also... my hands and feet are still chilly.. haha

A week or so...

Here I am. Week in.

I feel roughly the same energy wise. More motivated, that's for sure.

My hands are a bit cold along with my feet.

Diet mainly consists of Mango's and Bananas. Got a couple pounds of organic dates as well. 3500-4500 a day.

Adding greens in the smoothies in the morning and at night.

The only major difference I see is my hands and feet feeling cold and I am losing weight.

Day 01

Posted on May 26, 2011 at 11:30pm 0 Comments

Today marks the day I go 100%LFRV. Why today? Well, I was walking by the local fruit market on my way to work this morning and I saw something. Something I have never tried, nor had in my entire life. Fresh Figs. They were being sold by the case, they were already heavily brown and I made my decision.

This fruit was calling to me. I had a large bushel of blueberries this morning, quart. I figured before I ate anything cooked, I'd just do it. Give in. Make the change and…

My history in a banana-peel:

I grew up in a house of S.A.D. and was not a terribly athletic individual. I was more focused on artistic things. My parents were uneducated on healthy eating and diet so gradually I became an over-weight kid.

It stayed that way through multiple visits to clinics and weight-loss groups. Some would help, some not. My weight would constantly be a roller-coaster up and down, but never ever meeting optimal health. The lowest I could get to was 50lbs or so over weight.

I discovered the "Atkins" diet about five years ago. I was already really health conscious about diet, studied it, researched. So I didn't go in eating loads of bacon and other fatty crap meats and stuck mostly to a clean diet with high protein and low carbs.

The main reason I continued on this diet was due to it's phenomenal appetite suppression.

I am the kid who could come home and down an entire loaf of bread as peanut butter and jam sandwiches, then go for ice cream. I never really ate fast food, but I ate a load of carbs as a kid. Refined, terrible carbs. I didn't eat whole foods or grains hardly at all.

So the Atkins fad kinda made sense to me. I thought I was getting huge on carbs, so I cut them. Lost weight, but my body wasn't working well. I was really tired, slow, lethargic. I would have horrible mood swings, etc. etc.

Then about 8 months ago I discovered the Raw Juice Feast. I watched a few vids online of people who had great success with this feast. I researched it, figured it was a pretty healthy way to lose excess quickly. Went through about two months and slowly got off. Since then I have been about 80% raw for the past few months and have cut animal products entirely.

I discovered this idea behind 80/10/10 and have done some research on it. I plan to read the book and I hope that through eating more so low fat raw I will be able to exceed my expectations.

I have started running on a regular basis, as well as trampoline. I have always been a very large and strong man, but not nearly clean and cut. I hope to get rid of the weight and obtain great health.

The journey begins.

To date I have lost 150lbs.
