Hello fellow fruit bats!

I am excited to be on this journey with you. Here is my story:

I have been a meat eater for most of my life, not knowing the perils. My current boyfriend (who I met 3 1/2 years ago) introduced me to education on health and fitness like "Forks Over Knives", "Food Inc." and other similar documentaries and videos.

Today, after countless hours of research, videos, books, documentaries, and experimentation, I believe that I have found the best lifestyle in 30BAD and RawTill4 through freelee and durianrider's youtube channels.

I am not currently 100% raw or vegan. I tried going 100% raw earlier this year and fell off the wagon. I didn't know at the time, but it was because I was under-carbed and could not get access to enough high quality fruit.

I am trying to be 100% vegan now, though this whole thing is new to me, and something I literally said in the past that "I could never do that". I have broken my addiction to milk, cheese and egg, and any non-vegan choices of late have been around family or 'inconvenient times'. My boyfriend's family has started to adapt to my new style of eating, and I'm hoping to get the point across to my family soon.

I bought a blender yesterday to make smoothies and I LOVE it!! it makes smashing in the bananas really easy! :)

I guess I just want you guys to know that I am here because I desperately need support. I am coming from a background of a traditional mainstream "healthy" diet, and I need support if I'm going to make it to 100% vegan, non-harmful to my animal friends diet.

There are spiritual reasons for my decision as well. I think that you all can agree that no matter what you believe, we are spiritual beings and there is more to just the physical world that we see. I also think that people who are carbed up and eat a clean diet are more sensitive to spiritual things. Personally, I desire to have a heavenly body and treat it like the temple that it is. My body is the place where I dwell, and it is also the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit who gives life and energy to those who would seek Him.

yes i am
My favourite books/movies/authors/pastimes are....
I have loved the LOTR series since childhood, Narnia, Nancy Drew, John Grism, Lee Strobel, the Ocean's Eleven movies, Japanese animations, documentaries about the truth movement and the raw food movement.

My all time favorite pastime is being out in the nature. I grew up tending to a garden with my dad and playing in the woods. We grew all kinds of plants! Watermelon, raspberries, blueberries, currants, peas, rhubarb, peaches, plums, cherries, etc. That doesn't even describe half of the produce we grew, let alone the non-edible flowers and brush. We built forts out of sticks and fallen over branches/trees in the woods.
We also built a pond- my dad used the "do it yourself pond kit" aka a SHOVEL! Lol! One time I even trained the goldfish in the pond to be hand-fed, and that is HARD because goldfish have terrible memory. Another summer, I got a butterfly to trust me by being around it calmly and moving my hand closer and closer, then I stopped and the butterfly climbed onto my hand and let me carry it around! My mom was very impressed with me that day.

Well I don't know how that turned into childhood stories, but there you go, there's a little more about what I like :)
We recommend you purchase Freelee's ebook "Go fruit Yourself!". It is a must-read for newbies to the high carb raw vegan lifestyle.
Durianrider & Freelee started this site to bring together high carb, raw vegan and vegan lifestylists' across the Globe! 30bad is a high standard and high performance team! We're here to help you make our team! Let us know what high fruit assistance do you need?
I need some support and encouragement, and I think it would just be overall beneficial to be in touch with people who share the same values when it comes to food and the planet.

I think I've pretty much got the gist of this lifestyle, but there are many holes in my knowledge base when it comes to the details sometimes. It would help a lot to hear little hints and helping points/tips when it comes to the day in- day out living.
30bad is a fruit-focused vegan internet community which promotes a high carb fruit based vegan lifestyle free of any animal products. Our forum does not tolerate encouragement of anything contrary to this. Nor do we allow endorsement of non-vegan items or practises which involve the imprisonment, exploitation, abuse or murder of sentient beings. We also require our members to post with proper netiquette. Therefore, please indicate your intention:
I will comply because we are The Borg and resistance is fruitile
