I am looking for a raw food vegan diet, I am currently a vegetarian that has not fully removed eggs and dairy from my diet as I occasionally eat store bought breads that may contain this. I recently lost about 20 pounds becoming a vegetarian. I am hoping to transition completely to a vegan. I am training for marathons and open water long distance swimming and find that I am losing energy and memory and becoming tired and forgetful. So I am looking to find a lifestyle form of eating which I can have high energy for high energy endurance without getting fat or losing too much weight.

What is high energy but practical for an office environment. I work from 8am to 4.30pm, I have a one hour lunch and usually am so swamped that I have no time to snack during the day. After 4.30 I try to go running or swimming for two hours and need a lifestyle diet that is simple and easy to follow but organic and will give me enough energy to be alert at work and ready to do physical activity after, without feeling tired, or nauseas in the water

So being a runner and swimmer and a vegan I have become extremely skinny and getting a lot of slack about looking too thin and losing my curves. I want now to gain about 10 pounds of muscle in my arms and abs. Any suggestions? Is there a natural creatine for raw vegans?

Well my last blog post was about completing the Trinidad and Tobago Marathon. However I just realized that I forgot to give thanks to you Durian Rider.  So thank you!   I did a practice walk/run about a month before the marathon date and was devastated to complete the distance in seven and a half hours. So I just completed the Trinidad and Tobago Marathon today. Six hours 19 mins. This may sound like a terrible time to a normal marathon runner but given the fact that I really did not start marathon training until the last two months it was not a bad effort. Especially since my last long run practice took seven and a half hours. I will admit however that I did not do a raw diet today and stuck with vegan cliff packs for the race and cooked vegan foods after. (I did have loads of coconut…

On Monday I started to feel really itchy and by Wednesday I broke out in a terrible rash. After seeing a doctor and finally getting an appointment for a dermatologist I was diagnosed with an outbreak of eczema. The itching has finally gone down today as well as my raised pores and bumps. However it requires me to take the following drugs:

the steriod Progesterone- 5 tablets a day

zyrtec once a day for a week

pirotin- once a night for a week

bactroban- rub on twice…

Hey Karen, nice to find a fellow trini on 30bad, r u related to Christian Kong? 

I have been living in London but coming home in 2 weeks for a bit and getting very excited for some sun and tropical fruits, we get most of them here but are picked so green it's just not the same. See you are now starting out too and think this will be a great solution to your energy problems as an athlete. My sister trains quite a lot as a cyclist and is getting great results on 811
