I've been a cooked vegan for 3 years. However, I have always suffered with digestion problems. I am finally transitioning to a 100% raw high carb vegan lifestyle. I'm looking to connect with others who want optimal health.

I live in Canada, and at most times of the year it's hard to find fresh organic produce - especially exotic fruit. Am I doing myself any good by eating these fruits and veggies even if they're not organic?
30bad is a fruit-focused vegan internet community which promotes a high carb fruit based vegan lifestyle free of any animal products. Our forum does not tolerate encouragement of anything contrary to this. Nor do we allow endorsement of non-vegan items or practises which involve the imprisonment, exploitation, abuse or murder of sentient beings. We also require our members to post with proper netiquette. Therefore, please indicate your intention:

Hi Jasmine - Did they answer your question (the chemical non organic issue)? I asked the same one a while ago but no answer. This is the only excuse I find to cut my fruits and veg. with other food (that maybe I should cut these chemicals with other ''food'' in case, not to leave them alone...)...
Hey :-) Yea the feeling is mutual when it comes to feeling better. My main fruit is banana's. Sometimes I have to admit the quality sucks but I still eat it because anything else will just give me discomfort. What fruits are you eating?
Lets hope winter is short lived or we have more warm days that usual I wouldnt mind that either.
Don't worry too much about organic. You should still see improvment. If you're concerned about pesticide you should note you probably won't be getting more than you're getting on your current/previous diet and that you can look up the most sprayed fruits and avoid them. Google "dirty dozen list". Anything with a thick skin is good and is generally not sprayed much anyway like a banana or mango. Apples, peaches, plums, nectarines, pears, strawberries, are more heavily sprayed but i don't worry about it much myself.
