I went Vegan in February 2013. After being Vegan for about 4 months I became interested in the raw vegan diet thanks to my friend who started it. I began to implement more fruits in my diet but would like to find out more about the low fat raw vegan diet and learn how to eat correctly. I'm an open-minded, kind-hearted person who likes to connect with like minded people.

I'm interested in receipts or how I can vary my diet. Right now I'm just feeling eating the same fruits all the time. I also find myself not eating enough. I had a hard time in the beginning since I was craving starches. Now it's getting better but I have difficulties preparing a salad because I feel like I can't make a yummy sauce with olive oil and balsamic vinegar anymore. Only balsamic vinegar just does not taste as good. I tried a orange-mango sauce but I don't like it either. I also feel like a need to have some kind of starches with my salad. A list of foods which are high carb would be helpful. And what kind of cooked food, if any, are ok to eat.

U Hey healthy_j im an au pair too :) staying nearLondon..I always find cheap.persimmons and bananas in London. At markets and Turkish stores. Like a pound for 4 persimmons and a pound for big bunch of bananas. But during the week I tend to eat alot of cooked food.and dried fruit.as in the town im staying in They don't have good fruit and can be expensive. In the weekends when I go to London that's when it can be cheap.

I'm from New Zealand. Fruit was reasonably.priced there. Much cheaper than Australia where Harley always talks about its High prices.

How long are you being an au pair here for?
I look after kids who're fed chocolate and fish fingers almost daily and they can get crazy and not listen, very hyperactive, and I know it's because of their diet. The oldest one doesn't eat any fruit or veg. The younger one does and he is much calmer. The parents don't get it though.

Anyways hope you're enjoying Surrey.
