I have been vegan for almost 2 years and eat a high carb/raw diet full of tons of fruits and veggies. Since reading 80/10/10 recently, I've been trying to follow this lifestyle more precisely.
I am an avid runner. I have completed 4 marathons and several half marathons.
I hope to meet people with similar interests to share advice on how to fuel for athletic performance while staying on a low fat raw vegan diet.

thanks, i'm pretty excited about my trip to hawaii. i'll be there for almost 7 months... can't wait for sunshine too ;o) and tropical fruits and tropical rainstorms and the beach. . . and hopefully some running time . .. you could always come visit if you get sick of canada ;o)
haha, awesome advice! that's the same advice i found on a website called couch to 5k. i actually had a dream about running in the sun last night and about how good it felt. i think i'm going to take your advice when i get to hawaii in early april. i'll be biking and walking (and jogging!) everywhere so i should be able to build up my endurance quickly, don't you think so?
