I'm a collegiate lightweight rower and have always been interested in trying different eating methods to reach higher levels of performance. My mom owns an organic health food store so I've been exposed to a lot of different foods, ideas, and lifestyles from a young age. I was always intrigued by veganism and tried it for a week after doing a project on it in 9th grade. I was vegan all throughout high school and on and off in college. I recently ran across the 80/10/10 idea and think it sounds like a great thing to try!

I couldn't imagine going from Florida {where I'm assuming fruit is quite plentiful} to Wisconsin.  However, I do love it here!  Do you go to the UW?

Hi Hillary!!

I'm from Madison, Wisconsin too and am really curious where you buy your produce and how much you buy at a time.

I've been trying to find wholesalers in WI but cant find any! Do you know of some?

Would be interested in chatting, I am very curious about other HCRV {especially those living in WI}.

Hi,

Welcome aboard! :)

You can check out the Banana Welcome Wagon at:

http://www.30bananasaday.com/profiles/blogs/30bad-banana-wagon-tour

To get started. Be sure to note food, calorie, water, sleep recommendations and log (can use www.cronometer.com or similar)  your food/drink intake, at least for the first few months to get used to what you need to eat to stay on target calorie wise as well as macronutrient (carbs:fat:protein) wise. Even if someone is a long time, established, raw vegan, it is possible to discover some things using "hard-data"; spot trends, be able to make good adjustments, that might not be possible otherwise.

Enjoy!
