Fell hard off the wagon :(

Still vegan... but fell hard into the high fat vegan lifestyle.... and gained 20 pounds back that i had lost when I first went vegan. I keep trying to remember what it was I was eating when I first went vegan and dropped the weight.... and Im just sure it was low fat high fruit.... other than that I don't know.I feel sickly and somewhat out of breath now. Time to reunite myself with low fat vegan again because I now remember that sick gross feeling I used to have all the time before I went…See More

I have recently made the transistion to Vegan. I am currently 90-95% raw Vegan and I am listening to my body and may take the next step to fully raw.
I decided to go Vegan because I want to look and feel healthy, I want to feel good inside and out.
Since I made this transition I have come across documentaries and information which has completely opened my eyes and I will never go back to eating animals ever again.
So far I love this lifestyle and see no way that I could ever get bored with the limitless possibilities there seem to be in regards to preparation of raw vegan meals. :D

Durianrider & Freelee started this site to bring together high carb, raw vegan and vegan lifestylists' across the Globe! 30bad is a high standard and high performance team! We're here to help you make our team! Let us know what high fruit assistance do you need?
Really don`t need much assistance..other than maybe to see how HCRV can work for me while I travel the globe.
Being home in Canada I see no issues with being able to fund my eating. It`s a matter of priority and redistribution of funds :D

" I weigh 260lbs. I don't believe 2500-3000 calories of anything isn't good for me to be honest. Maybe for someone like Freelee who is pretty much an athlete, those amounts of energy are good.. but I don't think those numbers should be tossed around for just anyone. We all come in different shapes, sizes and activity levels, so how can we assume we ALL need the same amount of calories? I've never understood that part. Your take?"

50 pounds of Banana's for 16$ score!

Posted on April 8, 2013 at 7:29am 3 Comments

My best friend found a discount food store and we each bought an entire box of banana's for 15$. Amazing! her banana's are ripe and ready to be eaten. my box is a bit green and needs to ripen still. Great deal though.

We are about to embark on our one week raw challenge.

I'm worried the banana's will give me migraines though.... I happened to get a migraine about a month ago after consuming 9 banana's that day and have not really touched a banana since out of fear.... crossing…

Preparing to start a raw one week challenge....

Posted on April 6, 2013 at 8:58am 0 Comments

So I have been eating a bit too much high fat foods this past month and really want to stop! So a friend and I are going to go raw for 1 week starting monday. We thought it would be a good idea to do a one week challenge before we do our 30 day raw challenge this summer.

We have decided to juice fast this weekend prior to our raw challenge in the hopes it will make things easier...

I am currently feeling a little bit intimidated....I seem to have become slightly addicted to…

Hi Tricia,

Welcome aboard! :)

You can check out the Banana Welcome Wagon at:

http://www.30bananasaday.com/profiles/blogs/30bad-banana-wagon-tour

To get started. Be sure to note food, calorie, water, sleep recommendations and log (can use www.cronometer.com or similar)  your food/drink intake, at least for the first few months to get used to what you need to eat to stay on target calorie wise as well as macronutrient (carbs:fat:protein) wise.

Enjoy!

Now you can't be vegan 'cause... Mineral levels in plants are depleted. LifeRegenerator lacks sense

LifeRegenerator appears on RawKristina's video and repeats what an anti-vegan told me days before... that mineral levels in plant foods have depleted by 85 percent
