been doing this thing for 9 and a half years.. still going strong..

I ate a frugivorous diet for 6 years, 80/10/10 style.. but for the last 3 and a half years I've been including steamed vegetables.. I do this because I find Dr Michael Greger's work at NutritionFacts.org just too compelling to ignore. For anyone who doesn't know his work, he simply presents the newest nutritional journal articles.

I design my eating habits around hitting 84/8/8, I find any more or less fat and I get dry skin and slow digestion, 8% is just right.

General food diary:
Fruits: Figs, pineapples or grapes, or sometimes kiwi's
Vegetables: Broccoli, kale, and spinach, beetroot, turnip, summer squash, sprout flowers, swede, courgette, carrot, garlic, and I also indulge in some sprouted bread and rolled oats.

And I eat half a walnut and 3-4 tsp linseed with every meal, plus one or two brazil nuts once a day. My omega 3:6 ratio is at about 1:1, which I find is best for keeping me mentally happy.

I'm lucky if I hit 2500 kcal's.. all the low calorie vegetables make it hard to get in anymore calories.

i take a supplement of iodine, b12, d3 and omega-3 driver from micro-algae.

For exercise I don't do much at the moment. Generally I walk 20,000-30,000 steps a day.

Before the big change that 811 brought about nearly four years ago I 

was confused about everything, I used to partake in a lot ov drugs and

escapism and that prevented personal & emotional development and when

I finally put a stop to all the nonsense all the running away I had to

go through quite a painful metomorphosis..



.. if anything upset me, if anything was troubling or taxing, if i did

something wrong or regretted any actions I just escaped from…

811 the design



I think 811 is missunderstood by a lot of people.. in all appearances

it is a diet: a way of eating, and a lifestyle: a way of living.



But to me the food and the lifestyle is the result of a design, and

this design is what 811 really is...



Nature is hard and resources can be sparce. Survival is all important

and animals eat what they can to survive.



But what happens when this struggle is no longer there.. when food…

Grapes personal best..

Never been a fan of grapes really, never sure about the skin.. but i've made friends with the and am loving them now.. 

have eaten 1.2 kg of crimson red grapes for breakfast several days in a row... delicious, i find i need to drink plenty of water with them and eat them reasonably slow, note to self 'no shovelling these babies in'.

We derive pleasure from taste but this is not what it's for, taste sensations are there so we may detect WHAT we are eating, taste being the bodies second line of defence against poison, the first being sight and smell and of course the knowledge of what to look for...
