I suppose there are several angles for me to look at as to why I have come to this site. Most obviously because my good friend has been niggling me to do so for a long time.
From a young age I dealt with symptoms of toxemia primarily manifesting in the integumentary as eczema, dry hacking coughs and the digestion.
After getting loose of the parentals I began the painful process of reaching for health in a society where this is usually done as a wing and a prayer.
Slowly, moving through subsequent mazes of pills and puffers, experts and "acended masters" I came into possession of ever more effective understandings of what health actually is.
Along the way have come various friends with differing levels and perspectives of insight on health. The one mentioned earlier is a daredevil rebel with a heart aimed at that which is what 99.99995% of people don't do!
He was having fun with 80/10/10 and blasted me everyday with his ecstatic findings on this little "experiment" of his. After doing this for a month I took the ball and started my own experiment.
That was nearly 5 years ago. By hook or by crook I've managed to, most of the time, stay with and grow with this program of living.
It's been a wonderful vehicle of expression for me and I particularly notice the wonder of good flow of energy that I feel from working with this diet - and continuing to strengthen other aspects of healthful living - in my meditation.
I'm no longer troubled by the symptoms of the past. I'm never sick for work. My moods are stable. In short I am a raw vegan disciple.
Anyway, there are still so many ways for me to grow and so much for me to learn in health and well being so it's time for this stream to flow with the river of this moverment. May I add to the momentum of its current.
