I experimented a lot with diets as a teenager, and it all ended in disaster but I did spend a couple of amazing months believing I could eat as much fruit as I wanted and stay slim and healthy. I felt like I had happened apon a hiddin obvious truth? Somehow I drifted from that but recently my intrest in raw veganism let me here... and a lot of this stuff makes sense to me ;]

How to apply this practically in my life? Cost effectively... I eat mostly fresh fruit and vegetables anyway but making a commited change is going to be a little harder, esspecially being surrounded by mates that love their junk food ;] .

Hey Frankie! Nice to see another NZer on here...I've actually moved back over to the states, and have yet to update my profile...whoops...anyway, while I was there I lived in Wellington and regularly hit up the Fresh Direct Wholesalers for organic bananas, citrus, stonefruit, and dates. They also have offices in Auckland and Christchurch..I'm not sure where you live, but if you have access to a car and live around those areas, you should be able to go directly and pick up your food, pay cash. I'd also look up the WWOOFing website and look for local farmers growing apples, citrus, peaches, cherries, etc and ask about buying directly from them to save you money. Also, ALWAYS always always ask if there's anything Tag2 around. It's heaps cheaper and usually just kinda ugly (still super tasty, sometimes more so than the Tag1). Hope you're well and enjoying the lovely spring!! <3 lily
