I have been suffering from epilepsy since I was 20 (now I am 43) and around six years ago another disease popped up. It was dystonia which was caused by the antiepileptic drugs… and the quality of my life dramatically dropped. As you can imagine, along with the antiepileptic drugs the doctor prescribed me a very strong medicine to cure it. Unfortunately, the situation didn't look to improve, right the opposite, actually, as my body start to retains liquids and gained weight (even if I was barely eating). I felt very bad and sick and I couldn't recognize my body anymore. Plus, there was "amazing" side effects and for each of them I was supposed to get another medicine.
I was scared and discouraged as I couldn't imagine to live that way and I was willing to find a solution even if I wasn't able to see the end of the tunnel. At the end I accepted to meet this doctor (traditional one) who used to cure with food. He completely changed my life and, even if his diet was more oriented to vegetarianism, after 2 days ( yes, just 2!) I stopped having cramps (dystonic ones) and also my epilepsy improved.
I was shocked about the impact that only few changes had on my health. This thought me a lot and I have been trying to keep my diet as cleaner as possible. Then I bumped into fruitarians/raw food eaters communities and I thought that this could have helped me even more.
So here I am, trying to change my lifestyle and become a fruit eater… still a lot to do and to understand… trust you will be patient and help me with this new path. :)

I have bought (and still reading Freele ebook - you are so inspiring BTW :)) ) but I still need to understand a lot of principles. I am paying attention to food combining but my belly is still bulging and whenever I eat salads... well gases is just around the corner XD
