Been vegetarian for 13 years and vegan for the last 6 six of them. Cleaned up my act in April, 2011 and throwed away the bottle for good after years of alcohol abuse and started running long distance. At that time I also became more interested in eating healthy. Started eating raw - high fat without knowing really - and felt much better. After reading 80/10/10 this summer I put in more fruit in my diet instead of overt fats and now I´m feeling better than ever. Find out about 30BaD after watching Durianriders videos.

My favourite books/movies/authors/pastimes are....
When I´m not running I´d like to read and write. I read novels mostly, but there is always time for books about ultrarunning and vegan lifestyles. When it comes to movies and music I haven´t changed a bit sense I was a kid; still listen to punkrock and Morrissey and watching David Lynch movies with the eyeballs poping out of my skull.
Durianrider & Freelee started this site to bring together high carb, raw vegan and vegan lifestylists' across the Globe! 30bad is a high standard and high performance team! We're here to help you make our team! Let us know what high fruit assistance do you need?
I´m pretty lonely living this lifestyle - would like to meet likeminded people and learn more about the fruitbased diet.

I will comply because I like totally agree with all this
i think i've decided against jumping to 100 miles just yet. i wanna get more experience with 50+ milers first and work my way up more. i don't wanna be completely dead after 100 miles and have to take a week off lol.
Oh how fun. Umm, there's the Green Jewel 50k i would like to race here in ohio. I might race that one and then see how i feel the next day at the annual Distance Classic. I wanna try and run my first 100 miler in a couple weeks but it wont be at a race. i'm nervous but looking forward to it.
Oh how cool... ultras just rock! especially trail ones, which ultra is it? 6 months is a long time, but will come fast. eat right and don't overdue it and you may be recovered well. i took time off running and did water sprints (stand in place and run in place as fast as you can for about 1 minute to 1:15) about 10-12 twice a week and i felt like i was doing intervals but that was for a possible stress fracture that went away a month later. also, spinning is great cross training or other biking.
Hello and you are welcome. Yes, actually the past week i've had many good runs. got in my first 100 mile week in a couple months and i am excited about it and getting back on the runner's high :) Glad you are getting back on track, running in the cold can be so fun and refreshing, especially when there's no wind blowing against you :)
