Hi Doug, been awhile , binges are common along- side emotional stress...I think we all fall prey to this...I do find if we keep active in our work week staying on track is easier most definably. I work at Trader Joe's and enjoy it . I live with my partner Joe downtown . He's not raw but is very supportive. This does create challenges for me at times. I signed up for the LB half Marathon in October, so being committed to the run has helped me to stay more focused on diet sleep and training.

Anyways, I see you're in Long Beach and I'll be going there for an event at the end of July (28th- Aug. 2nd) and would love any advice you have for getting the best yummy organic fruits & veggies for the week!
I'll be flying in a day early (Tuesday the 27th) to and would like to get all my food for the week that day, since I'll be too busy during the event... what would you recommend? I know some stores may be better than others, etc.

I stopped living a lifestyle of the SAD 21 years ago for me the Raw Vegan started about close to 5 years ago. in between. I am on a LFRV lifestyle.
Have I encountered this problem during gatherings not at all and it never crossed my mind. I had to bring my own and introduce them to the type of "real foods" that I enjoyed and ended up doing a demonstration of how it is made since I am a Certified Raw Food Chef/Instructor lol, but those heavy Raw Vegan meals had me desiring for something less heavy on my system if you know what I mean. I will explain at another time. As they say e"Everything ain't for everybody"
Eating simple foods that leaves me feeling light and energetic and more is what my organs craved for, to be well hydrated and nourished. Listen to your body it will lead you to what it needs. "Your organs that is :)
