Hi, my name is Dana. I went vegetarian on thanksgiving day 2009 and tried being vegan a couple of times with no long term success(lasted about 4 months each time I tried and always went back to consuming dairy almost daily and fish just a hand full of times a year). I was dealing with personal health issues and felt better vegetarian but knew that I could dive further into it and still get better. I began juicing in oct 2013 and again started to see improvements in my health. So when looking at youtube and following a specific juicer that is on there that promoted juice fasting and I think you know who I am talking about. I never really got the vitality that he preached about me finding. I still like to drink a juice in the morning but I dont replace meals or fast anymore, after about 3 months of experimenting I still found myself in search of something better. Some one showed me the 80/10/10 book and I came across freelee and durian rider and felt like i stumbled upon what I had been looking for all along! Got right on raw till four July 1st 2014, now and I am feeling the best I felt in my entire life! Not turning back! I am looking to meet people who think the same to experience what 30Bad has to offer. I am so thankful to have found this lifestyle, forever grateful! Can't wait to make friends who are HCLFV too!

My favourite books/movies/authors/pastimes are....
My favorite things to do are to work out which for me means living an active lifestyle, not much of a gym goer. For me its hiking/walking, snowboarding, biking, longboarding, swimming and swiss ball exercises that I like for building strength, dabble with yoga. I like books about the vegan lifestyle and its benefits. Movies are great, I like documentaries, comedies and historical films.
