Well I have been vegan now for 1 year and 3 months now and I purely got involved from BROWSING Youtube and I came across a guy who posting 11 years vegan blood tests, healthy or sick?(Durianrider) I looked at it in curiosity and after I watched and seen that you don't need any type of animal product at all in your diet I thought I would challenge myself and give it a go, just for a month and along the way I also posted videos of my journey and that would be motivation to not quit. What's the funniest thing is that my Dad is a butcher and still is, so at first I was trying to keep it a secret from him. So being like a sponge I have learnt so much about nutrition on the vegan lifestyle mainly from watching durianrider and also looking at others like Doug Graham and the guy who does "The Best speech ever". And it was probably around the 2 week mark I stopped the cravings and started to really feel great, have heaps of energy and start to lose weight. So I became unbelievably addicted to seeing results and I knew that I would continue this lifestyle because it just made sense. So unlimited calories and going mainly raw at the start I went from 100kg down to a nice slim 80kg. I love being a spokesperson for this lifestyle, I don't get fazed by not fitting into what my family and friends do (going out for dinner etc) and now I'm ever so blessed that I have found the love of my life who mind you is going to be a qualified chef (bizarre I know) and now she to is just gone fully raw (she did it for herself btw and I did not persuade her) and I couldn't be happier that she has taken the right steps to becoming a healthier more vibrant person like I have become. So I got started as a vegan purely for health reasons as most people do but now I understand the depth of the problem that the meat and the dairy industry brings and I have a whole new appreciation for animals. If you actually read this far Harley and Freelee, you to have been the biggest inspiration to me, I watch your videos religiously to refresh my knowledge and because some videos I'm left in tears in laughter. I'd love to meet one day in the near future and once I get my youtube account back on from suspension (don't ask), it'd mean a lot to me if you could give me a plug to get some explosure...
