I have been vegan since March of this year, and what brought me here is that I would watch Freelee on YouTube and feel inspired. The Raw Till 4 lifestyle just sounded a lot better than what I've been doing (low carb / crash dieting). It's been great eating "whatever I want" and whenever I feel hungry! I've improved my IBS symptoms from almost daily to barely once per month. Unfortunately, I have no friends that are vegan, and I'd really like to be able to relate to some people and be able to ask questions. Everyone needs a support group.

My favourite books/movies/authors/pastimes are....
I prefer mystery books. You could say that includes detectives, cops, murder, ghosts, paranormal, and that sort of thing. Same for movies, but I also like action a bit, some comedy (only if it's really good), comic movies, and animated movies (like animes or like Pixar movies). I also read comics (mostly Image). As far as hobbies, I like to draw mostly with just pencil and paper, take photos with my DSLR camera, hang out with friends, play guitar, watch Netflix, and basically anything but work. But, hey, we've all got to make a living! Ha!

I think the hardest part for me is keeping motivated while my body heals. Before I went vegan, I went on a weight loss journey, losing a total of 40 lbs. I took a year off, basically, after being so burned out from such a busy schedule from trying to workout, work full time, go to school part time, and never have free time to myself. Then after a year of staying the same weight, I decided it was time to drop the last 10 lbs. I tried and tried and tried to get motivated, but I just couldn't do it. I'm so stressed about my future and a hundred other things, I feel like a wreck and like nothing'll ever straighten out. After going vegan, I've gained another 10 lbs on top of the 10 i still needed to lose. My acne came back after being switched to a different birth control so now I just feel gross. I feel fat and unattractive and I just cry sometimes wondering when the healing period will be over so that the other good things can kick in. I'm just really upset, and I need some help and motivation. Thanks for taking the time to read this, if you did.
