I've been on and off the raw journey for 10 years, though vegan for 20 years. As my body starts to change (I'm 48 now), it's just not responding like it used to. I remember chatting with Freelee on the Raw Pleasure forum years ago and I have followed her journey. I unschool my 3 kids, live simply and without attachment to "stuff".

To get started. Be sure to note food, calorie, water, sleep recommendations and log (can use www.cronometer.com or similar) your food/drink intake, at least for the first few months to get used to what you need to eat to stay on target calorie wise as well as macronutrient (carbs:fat:protein) wise. Even if someone is a long time, established, raw vegan, it is possible to discover some things using "hard-data"; spot trends, be able to make good adjustments, that might not be possible otherwise.
