That's funny. The very same is true here in the USA for ramen noodle soup. everyone jokes about it. but i like pelmeni much better.
HC stands for High Carb (carbohydrate). Means the same basically as LF (low fat). Because if you are eating too much fat, you're noting getting enough carbohydrates. All calories are either a carbohydrate, a fat, or a protein. You need a minimum of 80% of your calories from carbs, maximum 10% from protein, and maximum 10% from fat, to be healthy. That's what 80/10/10 means.
Welcome. I've traveled across Russia, from Vladivostok to Moscow. But, I have never been to Nizhniy. I imagine that it is even more crazy to be fruitarian there than it is here. In Bratsk it seemed all people ate was pork and potates. and pelmeni soup!
