Hey my Name is Dominic, im from Germany, and i am a passionate fruit - muncher. The day i found out that fruit sugar is actually good for you was the best day of my life. I've always been a person that didn't mind to be different, even tough i was highly incorporated in the average social life. I guess i was popular enough for people to just accept it. Ever since I'm 6 i play and love the Sport of Basketball. Because it was helpful for my Sport and game, I've always worked out, and i was always way bigger and stronger than the other kids. when i was 15 and 170 lbs, i gained around 20 lbs of muscle mass in 4 months and weighed in at 195 ( I'm 6'3 tall). This was possible because i faced an injury and worked out pure lifting for 14 hours a week. i stopped lifting that often until i was 18. when i started again i wanted to gain strength fast. Therefore i ate enormous amounts of food, still a flesh eater, and lots of raw oats, but always tried to be healthy, little did i know that i was ruining my health. didn't eat lots of meat, but wayyy to much yoghurt ! i always had that "steroid gut and looked fat, only when flexing i had some kind of weird sixxpack. i kept gaining weight and strength, and actually increased my bench press for example from 175 to 240 in 8 months, and also gained 15 lbs of muscle mass. the dark side was though, that i started getting bad digestion problems , since i was eating around 5000 kcal a day, but including lots of dairy, raw grains, and therfore too much protein and fat. Furthermore i was tired and stressed alot, and the doctor diagnosed some sorts of fungus in my stool. i was always looking for an answer, and when i heard that people like yohan blake and usain bolt were eating so much fruit, and i started informing myself about the vegan diet, i knew i was on the right path, especially since i had always been a carb person. my weight had at around 10 % bodyfat risen to 208 lbs, which was actually toommuch to recover fast after practices and my endurance wasnt as good as it could be, but i was explosive as hell. When i went vegan i lost 28 lbs, became lean as f***, my recovery was better, my mental clarity improved..the standard stuff. but i faced hard times with dizzyness and other issues in the beginning, because i only ate 3-3500 kcal a day in the beginning. now I'm at around 4.500-6500 a day and its awesome. Skinny for the win! After going vegan i also had the chance to step out of my ignornce of animal rights, and general connection with other beings. in order to tolerate your own eating behaviour as an average eater, you have to either be very ignorant, or give up the connection with yourself, with the part in that says: this is freakin horrible, i really dont wanna to this. This experience to get in better touch with myself was great!
