Hello! I'm Amy, I've suffered from IBS my whole life and was dangerously close to becoming anorexic these last few months due to the sudden weight gain I was faced with during my first year of university. After restricting my calories to around 1,000 per day for about 3 weeks this past winter break, I became extremely ill and wasn't able to leave my bed or keep anything down for several days. This made me worried I was entering bulimic territory so I knew it was time to rethink my priorities - to find a lifestyle that not only focused on becoming skinny again, but one that focused on making me feel better. Due to being malnourished back in October when I went on the aktins diet and ate virtually no carbs for a month, I've lost my period as well and I'm trying to get it back before I cause any permanent damage to my body. When I came across the banana girl's videos a couple weeks ago I was extremely skeptical to the point of becoming frustrated at the idea that I could eat as much fruit as I wanted without gaining weight. Now I'm convinced that raw till 4 is the way for me to go, and I hope joining 30BaD will help me to stay high carb low fat vegan for life.

As a new raw till 4-er, my body is still adjusting to the new lifestyle (still a bit bloated) and I have been wondering if I should be making the transition more smoothly by increasing my fruit intake slowly, or if it is more effective to just go straight into it and smash in the carbs and the calories. Which would be easier for my body to adjust to, or does it make no difference?
