I discovered Freelee's youtube channel about 6 months ago, and thought "wow she's so lean and she eats all that?" but I kind of wrote it off at the time and didn't give it much more consideration. About 3 months ago, I came across Freelee's channel again, while surfing through JennaMarbles videos. This time I stayed to watch a few more videos because I was feeling pretty crappy on my diet at the time, I wanted more vitality and to be able to pursue a sport, to have more energy, to eat massive bowls of pasta for dinner. So I tried a banana milkshake with added muscovado and coconut sugar just to see. So delicious. So much nicer than the yoghurt drowned cereal I was eating at the time. Then I started to get more into the channel, also found durianriders channel and watched some of that, eventually bought Freelee's book and decided to go raw til 4 vegan, then bought durianriders book as well, decided to get into cycling (as I now have the energy) borrowed a friend's bike, have been cycling every second day for the last 3 weeks or so, and I am feeling better every day. Today I'm going to buy my own bike, and also a camera for making youtube videos. I am so inspired by the people (esp Freelee and durianrider) who have been living this lifestyle long term. I found 30BAD through the youtube channels and I'm so excited to be living this lifestyle now. I see no reason to ever return to my old way of eating.

My favourite books/movies/authors/pastimes are....
Anything by Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett or Patrick Rothfuss (particularly name of the wind).

I like Fightclub, the Matrix, The Fifth Element, I also like watching documentaries like Planet Earth. I watched Earthlings, and loved/hated it.

Favourite pastimes include walking, writing, cycling, yoga, talking with friends, playing clash (a video game), and playing with my adorable 2 year old spaniel/poodle cross Aster.
We recommend you purchase Freelee's ebook "Go fruit Yourself!". It is a must-read for newbies to the high carb raw vegan lifestyle.

I would really like to experiment with some more recipes as I have a pretty good staple routine happening right now but it lacks variety.

What to do with cow skin and other wearable animal products you already owned?

I decided to keep everything I had before I made the switch to a vegan lifestyle. I’m keeping my cow skin belt, I’m keeping my cow skin bag, and I’m keeping everything woolen I own (which is a lot).

I know there are alternatives, but these don’t seem very appealing to me.

Option one: throw this stuff away. That’s what I did with the majority of the meat based foods I had in my fridge, freezer and pantry. I’m aware though, that making extra trash is not exactly ideal, so I…

Hi fruities!

Thought I would share my day's meals with you all in case there are any pro tips anyone might be able to offer me (I'm doing raw til 4 rather than 801010)

Breakfast: smoothie with 16 dates, 1 banana, 2tbsp coconut sugar and 1.5L water

Lunch: 1 mango (tony atkins, not my favourite but still ok), 6 plums, 1 cup of soy milk with 2 tbsp carob powder and a sprig of fresh mint

Dinner: approx 300g wheat pasta with homemade low sodium…

I feel like people who have been on this lifestyle for a long time may forget the very early indicators that it was really doing something extraordinary, in a physical sense to their bodies.
