Over the last 2 years I have slowly found myself moving more and more toward a vegan lifestyle. It had nothing to do with ethics but was purely for health reasons. I have always been a thin guy and never liked being that way so I never dreamed of ever giving up meat cos protein was supposed to make me bigger haha. I met a guy about a year and a half ago at work who ate a lot of fruit. He was much smaller than me but destroyed me in the gym. He was leaner and stronger than everyone in the gym so i figured I would have to be an idiot to not listen to him. I got training with him and became stronger and became very lean. I then started eating more and more fruit while becoming leaner and leaner (without looking like a lank anymore). The more fruit I ate the less meat I ate and the leaner I became. but I couldn't quite stop eating meat altogether. Recently tho, I saw Earthlings after someone suggested I watch it and I haven't touched meat since. Looking to find good info so I can get me and my family healthy.

I like out door activities like hiking, surfing, backflips off the wharf etc. I love playing music (not very good tho) and hearing new (or old) music. I love going to the gym and all the puffy dudes wondering how this skinny guy is stronger than them haha.

I find it hard to get in as many fruit calories as I need due to my physical job. I sometimes get a sore stomach after too many bananas. My record is 26 bananas in a day. I know Harley said in a vid I watched that even tho he doesn't eat cooked food that there is some he approves of like potatoes, rice etc. Can I talk about that on this site? I find I really want to eat a cooked meal at night and I like rice, corn, potatoes, oats etc. Good fruit is hard to get and expensive in cold Wellington (although I have got in with the wholesalers) so I need to fill my calorie requirements however I can. What do you think?

Rule number one: start with 15x your target bodyweight (current + no more than 10%) in calories every day. Then make darn sure to progress on the barbell squat, some form of bent row (or chins at this point), and some from of upper body push. Stay with the same routine for at least three months (provided that you maintain picture perfect form in favorable-to-your-leverages exercises) and make some real poundage progress. Six to ten reps, or a few more if you need to be kind to certain joints. Leg work is always at least ten, preferably 15-20. Main thing Adam is progress. If you do not increase the poundages weekly or bi-weekly, especially on the squat, then DO NOT continue without a complete and honest review of your training duration & frequency, sleep and food intake. This is all the info you need to get started. Just make sure to take what I stated here to heart- no substitutions. Take it word for word. (Like the best things in life, all the most important info can be printed on an index card. What is left is simply for us to do it with diligence!)
