I don't actually recall how I found Freelee on Youtube, some random browsing maybe? Anyway started watching and became intrigued by the HCRV idea. I'm your typical almost 40 American male, spare tire included. I've been a smoker and coffee drinker for 20 years. I was on high blood pressure and high cholesterol medication. As of now I have quite smoking, drinking coffee and have gone HCRV after reading 80/10/10 and watching tons of videos. I've been doing this for exactly 7 days now. No coffee, no smoking, totally HCRV. I went to see my doctor and let her know that I was doing this lifestyle and had some concerns about my ACE inhibitor and the amount of potassium I've been eating. She agreed we could stop the blood pressure and cholesterol medication if I'm committed to an HCRV diet. So I'm off those medications. Blood test in 3 months. We'll see :)

Not sure I need anything at the moment. I'm pretty set up between reading 80/10/10 and the videos. Just need to keep packing in the fruit!

To get started. Be sure to note food, calorie, water, sleep recommendations and log (can use www.cronometer.com or similar) your food/drink intake, at least for the first few months to get used to what you need to eat to stay on target calorie wise as well as macronutrient (carbs:fat:protein) wise. Even if someone is a long time, established, raw vegan, it is possible to discover some things using "hard-data"; spot trends, be able to make good adjustments, that might not be possible otherwise.
