30 Bananas a Day!

My tummy after eating appx. 1,700 calories worth of rice, potatoes, and lettuce and then that is my tummy about 10 hours later in the morning. I am not sucking in for the after picture, my ribs are naturally like that in the morning. I just wanted to show how voluminous foods are supposed to fill you up!

I love this- especially as sometimes I tend to freak out when my stomach expands after a big meal. It's a reassuring picture and you look awesome!

Awesome!!!! Ya I eat quite a lot of cooked carbs just because I like them but I try to only eat them for supper!!

Hello Fruity, on days I eat cooked, I'll consume the same amount of calories I would on fruit. Most of the times, the reason I eat cooked carbs is because I would not be able to get enough calories from fruit that day. My average daily calories range from 3,000 to 3,500. If the fruit sucks where you are right now, eat pasta or rice or potatoes for dinner! Just don't add any fats or oils on them and you shouldn't gain any significant amount of weight.

Berny - you have me intrigued. On days when you eat cooked, how many total calories do you consume? I checked out corn pasta and a 16 oz bag has 1552 calories alone. I want to succeed on 811 but fruit quality in Indiana is horrible right now. Thanks!

Hi Amy! For the past couple of weeks, since I've been staying with family, I've been eating cooked carbs almost every night. In these two weeks, I have noticed no weight gain or side effects (low energy, bloating, etc). Prior to these past weeks, I would ban cooked carbs and stuck to only fruits, but now that I see that I can still thrive on them, I'm gonna start eating them more often!! In case you're wondering, when I eat cooked carbs, I pack it in! I'm talking an entire packet of pasta or whole bag of potatoes :)
