I posted the following as a new discussion, but the comment wall seems to get more attention here, so here it is:


I just joined this group and noticed that noone has posted in a long time. I'd love to hear how you've all been doing, any changes in your ways of eating, meal times, benefits noticed, problems...


I tried fully monomealing for a while, but had a problem getting enough calories unless I gave up on greens and low cal fruits completely. After a few months of this, I really needed some greens and found myself going back to a 2 or 3 ingred salad at dinner. The rest of my meals are mono unless I am still hungry and out of the particular fruit I started with (this is not frequent, though).


I guess my challenge is that I am very small woman (5'2" and 85 lbs soaking wet) and I find that when I eat to satiation, I am seldom hungry again for at least 4 hours. I've actually never been one to snack.


I see that some of you eat 5 times in a day -- that has never worked for me since I end up never feeling hungry, eating because I "should" (for calories) and then I don't enjoy the food as well as always feeling stuffed. Yuck.

Plus, if I eat more often, I find it hard to ever have an empty-enough stomach for any vigorous exercise.


Still, I do love how monomeals work for my digestive system -- I feel lighter and more energetic, well-nourished and generally happier in mood. So I may revisit all day monomeals if I can figure out a way. Definitely open to suggestions!

1 week is too insignificant. Try to transit to mono eating gradually, slowly increasing your mono meals in your diet and try it at least 6 month (fully mono) before draw a conclusion.

Hey guys. I've tried a week or so of solid mono eating and notice a huge difference. I feel MUCH better when I don't mono. more energy, clarity etc.

Natural instinct and senses based mono feeding (which mono feeding serves best) is a most natural and healthy thing to do (short- and long term). Actually, in my experience, if one gravitates naturally towards feeding on fresh high-water-low-fiber-fruits, then mono eating is experienced as even more natural and inevitable. The denser, the more fibrous and fat containing are the foods the more are people inclined to complicating - mixing, blending and consequently overeating (meaning ingesting more foods in to the organism than it can process and handle, leading to enervation and suppression of required healing maintenance functions) and by that torturing themselves into even more insane compulsive suicidal behavior. I really welcome this group;-)

Mono-mealing is a blast! You really feel a difference. Anybody have a certain fruit in mind that would enhance cleansing?

I mono'd on figs all day long today - I think I must have eaten 7 pounds. So incredibly yummy! For dinner I did eat tomato and lettuce at the same time, but at least I had just to those two, and I ate them out of hand instead of mixed into a big bowl together. I'm really enjoying the mono fruit meals during the day though!

great idea for a forum fruiteater. i'm totally committed to mono eating. love it! the times i have gone away from mono eating i have definately noticed the difference.

That is kind of how I usually eat too, Yuliya - one fruit, but I often follow it up with one kind of green. But tomorrow I am going to try mono meals for the whole day.

Hi guys!

I am practicing monoeating as much as I can, but sometimes when I don't have enough of one fruit I follow it with another similar fruit. Also I still blend bananas and plantains sometimes together. And I do my best to follow all my fruit meals with mixed baby greens because I have teeth sensitivity issues and this practice really helps. Otherwise I am looking forward to become even more mono with time!
