Don't emphaSIZE!

My 80/10/10 journey and my new experiences in the process - as well as past experiences before that - have inspired me to create this group. Because I find too many people being obsessed with being thin. Optimal health and peace for all beings should be the goal. That is what I find 80/10/10 to be all about. I also personally prefer hearing success stories focused on better health through 80/10/10 instead of how someone looks.

This group is also related to support those who suffer or have suffered from eating disorders.

Hi all!

I am so pleased to see a group here focusing on optimal health over physique. I'm new to 30BaD and as a woman in recovery from bulimia and anorexia, I believe that regardless of the result, our goal is to promote a lifestyle that bring peace to the war we often share with food, body image, perfectionism, self-control, ego and so forth. I want to be living, breathing proof of genuine happiness and pure, glowing health from this lifestyle. Our bodies will naturally unfold to our desired weights and forms because we are FINALLY being kind and nourishing ourselves, instead of abusing ourselves to thinness. We are all beautiful, and forget the media and people, including our loved ones, who say otherwise.

Big hugs! Much love and success in your journeys...

I'm totally with you on that Esperanza! :) Your video really warms my heart and reinforces my dedication and motivation even more. Optimal health and animal rights are what is important! :)

Welcome Ashley. :) I am just as saddened as rawcelt and furious as well when I hear that your "family" is so awful to you about your weight. If I were you I would either restrict the contact or break it completely. Then YOUR health and YOUR happiness is what counts!

Hey Ashley

I love that your goal is to be as healthy as possible, without stressing the weight loss. I honestly believe that beauty comes from within. It has very little to do with size and/or shape. I am saddened to hear that your family is hung up about your weight and looks. You look fine to me! Enjoy the journey.

hey im ashley. im about  a month into raw veganism and it is going pretty well. recently i have been struggling with staying on and im getting motivated again. I just want to be as healthy as possible, and maybe shed a few lbs along the way. my family is very hard on my weight and my looks. In reality I just need a group of people that are all in this together. so here i am!
