Check out Aloha to 30BaD's Welcome Wagon! to read about how things are done on 30BaD and the 30BaD basics, including frequently asked questions and exceptional threads for information and inspiration!  You'll see in the welcome wagon what the 30BaD calorie guidelines are and why they are what they are, as well as what high cal fruits to stick with in the beginning.  Dr. Doug puts most folks on banana island to start out, you might consider doing this while your stomach stretches as it gets used to the higher water content foods.  See this group for more info. on that: Banana Islanders

You will get there in time for sure, just keep learning and focusing on getting enough sugar, water and sleep.

I have only been eating 1000 cals for a long time, because so little food was available to me, I got used to it and full off it. Only recently I've realized I've had no energy, motivation and was cranky, and unable to think because 1000 cals was simply not enough. Now I'm trying really hard to hit that 2000 mark, but it feels near impossible, I want to stop eating at like, 600 cals for the rest of the day. Even smoothies really fill me up D8

Hi, can anyone give me some tips on successfully following this way of life of eating. My problem is I usually ate once a day and my metabolism is shot..I quit eating all sweets and only drink water throughout the day.I have dropped weight but now I want to lose weight,build muscle and be happy...Looking for pointers of what you ate first month,tips,etc that would be beneficial to me and much appreciated...ty

Hey everyone, just letting you all know I posted a challenge to stay 100% raw in may (http://www.30bananasaday.com/m/forum/topic/show?id=2684079%3ATopic%...).
I need to eat enough fruit for this to be successful so I will be blogging daily my intake so you can all see how much fruit I need!

Thank you Daniel. Yesterday was a bit tough but I made it. I think I waited to long to eat but today that is not a mistake I will be making. Already this morning I am in the process of drinking 6 bananas.

Dear Nash,

By all means DON'T WAIT ONE HOUR TO EAT MORE BANANAS. Eat them as soon as you can! Usually, it will only take 10 or 15min till the bananas you've eaten have progressed sufficiently in your digestive tract so as to allow you to eat more.

The most important thing is eating enough. Proper food combination and correct timing between meals or between eating and drinking are secondary to it.
