Anyone else doing the free Deepak Chopra 21day meditation challenge? Started August 5th. Loving it. Deepak is so inspirational. Wish more physicians were like him....
Cool I'll add them to my Pandora stations! Quantic is kinda upbeat. Cool sound. Better for an energizing practice I think...B Flesischman has an interesting electronic sound. I'll have to look for that album. I really like Benjy Wertheimer too. Guess I like the eastern vibe. Reminds me of my trip to India. All the locals could tell I practiced...They saw me get off the tour bus and called me Yoga. Guessing they knew by my zen or maybe my physique? haha I have to say India had the best tasting papaya I have ever had. :D
JoBerry! Great Thread:) Although they don't have that smooth Eastern vibe like, Maneesh De Moor, I have fun practicing to Quantic - try em out on Pandora. I also like an album by B Fleischman called "The Humbucking…"
Hey Fruity Yogis! What's your fave music to practice to? I looooove Maneesh De Moor!
Thanks Fruitman! That looks so amazing! Unfortunately I do not think I can get away to Brazil this year. A bit far :( Maybe next year when my divorce is final I'll have the time and $. I was thinking something in the states maybe Grand Canyon...?
Joberry, check this yoga-adventure retreat in Brazil :)The food there is low-fat and plant-based but it can be 100% fruits if you want. Or if you bring a group of at least 5 raw foodies then it can be raw for everyone.Apart of yoga you do hiking, kayaking, Stand Up Paddle and receive daily massages.
Anyone know or can suggest a good Yoga retreat? I need to escape this year somewhere beautiful!
Just watched Yoga is. A documentary about a woman's journey to find peace through yoga after losing her mother. I liked it. A lot of teachers I have taken classes with. Inspirational and a lot of wisdom to share. I recommend. Its on Netflix! :)
