Hi everyone! I'm flying out to Singapore in 2 weeks and I plan to be staying for my internship just over 2 months. I'm 21 and a training doctor, looking for like minded friends and/or some helpful advice for shopping, restaurants etc. If anyone could offer some help I'd be very grateful. - Aevi <3

Hi everyone, here to get info on where to find the best food in Singapore. I come over from Bali now and then when I need a holiday,,haha

Hello all! I'm quite new to this lifestyle and am absolutely HUNGRY for the following information:

1. Produce management -- how to keep your large amount fruit so as to prevent them from going bad in our hot Singapore climate so you get a nice supply every day of the week (eg. bananas - don't they ripen super quickly? How to stagger ripening?)

2. Recommended stalls for bulk buying for newbies -- Some of you have said Pasir Panjang so I'm gonna check it out soon for sure! But surely different stallholders have different rates? Which stalls are YOUR go-to, recommended stalls for getting the best deals?

Thank you all so much in advance! I'm sure all the newer peeps are gonna appreciate the valuable information you share :D

@Daryl, Jayme - I'm very keen to hit TFF in July 2014. Definitely giving it some serious thought (trying to sort out work commitments ), especially since it's so close to home! Quite a rare opportunity i must say. Hope to be able to go up in a group together for sure =)

@Daryl, I'm going. Hopefully with another few of my vegan/raw vegan friends in Singapore.

Aloha, I've only joined despite being on this forum for a few months.

Anyone up for the Thai Fruit Fest next year?

Hi Rajnish, you can buy bananas in bulk and many other fruits at wholesale prices from Pasir Panjang Wholesale Centre. I bought a 18kg box of bananas for SGD 25 there last week. Hope this helps!
