30 Bananas a Day!

I am having a really hard time right now and think I need a way to stay focussed. 3 years ago I did 45 days on nothing but green smoothies and it really helped me lose craving, recommit to healthy eating and appreciate the natural taste of simple foods again. Plus it didn't hurt with weight loss either. So I am going to do 2 weeks to 30 days on green on fruit smoothies. If anyone wants to join me I will love the company.

AWESOME! no I haven't started yet, i am startingt this morning and am supper excited to have you join me! Let's do this!!!! :) going to go make my first smoothie this morning. Apple, banana, date and spinach. I'm saving my favorite banana and romaine for lunch. Where are you located? I'm in oregon. Enjoy your morning smoothie. ;)
Hi Charlotte...Don't beat yourself up! The only thing good that comes out of it is that we don't change until we feel we have to and if we are uncomfortable enough and have suffered enough we have a huge opening to REALLY change. I am there and sounds like you are too. Are time zone is so different that it is hard to connect but hope you are having a better day and enjoying your yummy green smoothies. I just had orange, mango, banana and spinach...YUMMY! I know they say citrus and sweet fruit don't mix but it doesn't bother me. Be kind to yourself today. :)
Datorade will work. ;) here are a few green smoothies I love:

1 fuji apple, 1 date, a small piece of fresh ginger, 1 frozen banana, and spinach

5 bananas (use 3 of them frozen if you have a high speed blender) and a head of romaine lettuce

1 large orange, pineapple or mango, 2 frozen bananas and spinach or kale ( you can add a couple of dates if you like it really sweet)

I can sort of do it with you. I started a 30 day juice cleanse yesterday, so I won't be chewing away on anything. I already miss banana's! 

Hi Ava...way to go starting your juice fast! I have to admit yesterday was not a good day for me but I am even more determined then ever to do this 100% now. So glad you are joining me!!! It really helps when you have a buddy when you are on liquids. How long do you plan on going for? I did a combo smoothie /juice fast before and was very successful. We can do this!!!!

It should wind up being about 31 days. I'm going til Easter or 4/20 (hahaha) for the nonchristian folk. Then I'm thinking smoothies/juice for 15 days after that. Then I'll appreciate chewing away on bananas and fruit's and eating salads!

That is awesome! I am going 30 days so we should finish the same day. ;) i am at the point of complete frustration which to me is a good thing. It means It is time to change and I am ready! When I am just mildly uncomfortable I tend to think it is not as urgent and I tend to make excuses. No more excuses. Enjoying a delicious banana and romaine smoothie now. Are you juicing today or smoothies or both?
Oops, just realized you said you were missing bananas..sorry! Smoothies not really that good. ;) lol we are going to feel awesome after a few days!
Hi Charlotte...glad you are doing well juicing! Way to go! Funny how just a day of taking care of your body makes you feel so much better about life. Yesterday was a good day for me as well. :) Even though i love juicing and I am sure you detox much more from them,I am still doing the smoothies and not limiting myself on quanity. Definitely doing it more 80/10/10 style and drinking my meals as oppossed to eating them right now. How are you doing Ava? Here is to another yummy liquid day.....drink up!
Today was another good day. I had mostly green smoothies today but also had some additional fruit and celery. So basically just a really good 80/10/10 day. I think this experiment helped me discover the best way for me to follow this way of eating. More greens! Having green smoothies for breakfast and lunch really seems to do the trick. I am still having plenty of fruit but I need the additions greens. So day 2 of 100% raw done. How are you guys doing? Still juicing? Hope you both had a great day!

I can start on Saturday, I will do just smoothies -- but some of them may be high fruit, still with greens in each drink. So I will commit to smoothies only from June 7 to July 7. I will have 2 Tablespoons of chia seeds per day and a b 12 suppliment. Other than that, just fruits and veggies. I need to jump start my weight loss and reverse my allergy problems.
