30 Bananas a Day!

Hi there,

I am new here and just in week 2. I've had CFS for several years and would find it hugely motivating to hear how other CFS sufferers have got on with this lifestlye.

I've had good days and bad days since starting. Is it normal to feel worse before feeling better?

If you have seen positive results or have recovered from CFS since being HCRV please post below. It would be great to hear from you.

yes you sure will feel worse at first i had cfs for 7yrs .what else ld you lie to know? you can message me

Hi Karen,

I started around March 2011. I began with a raw, fruit breakfast smoothie every morning and then expanded to fruit lunches as well. I have seldom done all raw days, but more the raw until dinner plan. I eat a huge salad 3-5 times a week. 

I think I noticed improvement (my energy in the morning was much improved) a few weeks into it and now can confidently say that it is about 99% gone! I actually just finished the Couch to 5k program and it's pretty mind blowing that I can now run for 30 minutes straight when I used to be so tired I would stay in bed all weekend or crash on my couch and fall asleep every day after work. Not to mention weird aches and pains, inability to think straight, etc. Sure, there are some bad days, but I think that's normal for anyone. 

HCRV or HCCV definitely works for CFS. I think the key is to stick to the recommended meal plans, no restriction on calories, and lots of water.

Other tips: NO caffeine, NO stimulants, NO drugs--only lots of fruit, greens, water and other simple, low fat, whole vegan foods.

Keeping a sleep diary when I was seeing the neurologist helped a lot. For me, it was necessary to stick to pretty much the same sleep schedule every day and allotting exactly 8 hours for sleep. If I sleep more or less than that it can mess up my sleep cycle and affects how I feel the whole day.
