Of course, there is good residential service by ICE (high speed) and 3G pretty much all over the country.

Hey everyone, I'm thinking I'll be in Costa Rica for just a week in November. I know it sounds odd... It's a long story... is anyone around to share fruit with?

My partner, Aaron, and I are taking a 7 months backpacking trip to Costa Rica and Panama starting next month, November. We have two work exchange farms set up to house us, still looking for one in Panama...

In case a place does not work out and we have nowhere to stay is there anyone here who lives in Costa Rica and could house us temporarily? We would of course love to do a work exchange. It would also just be cool to meet some like-minded fruit loving people.

Hi all! Soon i will be also in Costa Rica for a couple of months, i take the plane in the end of november. Hope i can meet the one or the other there. I would also be happy for contacts, my idea is to find a place to be where i dont have to worry for food, sea, and sun. See ya soon there :-)

Hi Patrick, I just sent you the latest issue. As for fruits, there are a couple of fruit stands in Dominical as well as a small grocery, but everything is crazy expensive in Dominical. Your best option, is the San Isidro Market (on every Thursday-all day and Friday morning, but there is much less farmers on Friday). However, you will find at least 3 fruit stand on the road between San Isidro and Dominical, the bigger ones (and better ones in my opinion) are the ones near Baru, about a 15 minute drive from Dominical. There are also two fruit stands right outside of Dominical (walking distance) at the crossroad for San Isidro (they have delicious lichees in the fall). There is also a great grocery in Uvita (a 15 minute drive from Dominical towards the South) where you can find good food at a decent price (like quinoa, tahini, etc.). There is also a Farmers Market in Uvita every Saturday morning where you can buy great organic produce (amazing greens) from Maoren's farm and some fruits too.

Hi Catherine. Thanks for the info about the newsletter. I would appreciate the the newsletter. My email is patclark88@gmail.com. Would it be easy to find good produce in Dominical? Or is it best to go to the market in San Isidro?
