BigG sez: "You say you want to eat cooked food because you're feeling a little bit cold? Drop and give me 20 you maggots!! Then eat 10 bananas."

BigG sez: "Feel like winter's kicking your ass? Get plently of calories from bananas and dates; stay hydrated; eat your celery and greens to replenish your electrolytes; stay warm and dress appropriately; get that ass off the couch. Now it's YOU who's gonna be doing the butt whoppin'!"

Hi, everyone! I am new to this plan.( I will not call it a diet!) I am trying to be committed to this plan but I need support to stay raw in the winter.  I  am starting to love this plan and feel great when I follow the rules. And I want to follow the rules! So when I saw this group, I decided to take the help if you were offering it. Thank you for accepting me into this group!

Yay a winter group !! :D I'm actually from Winnipeg! There is a reason we call it "Winterpeg", lol This is my first fruitarian winter...wish me luck. I just worked 8 hours out in the cold and came home to some hot tea and some bananas, dates and mandarin oranges. Will be making a spinach salad later on with chia seeds and apple slices. Its still mild here, it was hovering around -10C with a wind all day. As soon as January rolls around it stays below -25C for the most part, its not uncommon to dip below -40C for weeks at a time. Not a fun place to live in the winter but wtf, gotta make the best of what you have!

I ate a wee bit of cooked food today. :/ (In a salad but still....) and i feel I went overboard with fats (avocados, some tahini & raw almond butter & dehydrated banana + nut cracker) and raw "junk food" (granola + sweet cracker). :| I know my problem: not enough RIPE fruit. I started the day off poorly by scraping my tongue with sour, unripe kiwi. :( I've been eating only semi-ripe nanners all day. Crisis. :|
