Hey Coury - yes for sure, and Hayek, Mises, etc. The world is really suffering from a lack of knowledge! Haven't seen Hoppes Democracy - will check it out. Got a pretty tall reading list just now already though, but I'll add it to the future list for sure. My first act as president is to abolish government :) 6am on day one.

Well written Mike. Fellow fan of Rothbard I imagine? You checked out Hoppe's Democracy: The God That Failed? Very good stuff. I think he has a relatively new book out; have yet to read it myself.

Globalism is specifically, expressly, anti-capitalist.

Capitalism is like gravity. Hating capitalism is like hating gravity. There's no point. It is what it is, it is simply the natural drive of human beings to make choices that are in their own best interests. Capitalism has a bad name. It's like the architects of the world are building shoddy structures, they fall down, they are infested with termites, they're on bad foundations, they are corrupt, and the architects say "Gravity is to blame. We must have a world without gravity. And we can do it if you give all the power to us". It's absurd. Yet, propaganda is powerful. What we have today, the ills of the world, the starvation, the political inequality, the legal inequality, the wars, is not because of capitalism. It's because we left capitalism a long time ago, we departed from free markets, which means freedom of choice for the little guy and everyone, and we have fascism, corporatism, aka crony capitalism. We have thwarting of the free market, monopolies, protectionism, anti-competition, anti-capitalism. And they bought the media, and they say "See, this capitalism is to blame". If you want law and order protecting the rights of the individual to make free choices and free associations, that's capitalism. If you don't want someone in some centralised organisation with bought off power telling you what to do, even if you can live or die, that's capitalism. If you want free exchange of information to be able to quickly and powerful bring down the biggest corrupt corporation through people power, that's free markets and capitalism. The governments prevent the market from working through protectionism. No government, which is just people sourced from the same group as us, can ever be better or smarted than everyone being free and making their own choices.

Anarcho Capitalist Libertarian here... well that's close enough as a label I suppose.

Capitalism is just private ownership, what's wrong with that?
