It's somewhat apparent to me that coconut oil is shrouded in debate. There are so many who are completely for it and there are those who are adamantly against it. Other than the fact that 100% of coconut oils' calories are from fat are there other reasons not to consume it on 80/10/10 lifestyle? Or is that reason enough.
I also see the perspective that if one wants coconut oil and its largest fat contributor, lauric acid, then it's better to eat unprocessed, raw coconut meat. I'm just having a mental debate here and looking for others thoughts.
1T has bout 120 fat calories so theoretically if one is consuming 2400 daily calories or more that 1T of coconut oil is 5% or less of daily fat calories.
