I remember listening to a discussion by Dr. G and he said "Would you feed junk food to a baby?". The obvious answer to most people would be "No", but we pretty much do. He said "We're all just big babies". I thought about it more and decided to research what the web suggests parents feed their babies. To my surprise, according to this article: http://www.babycenter.com/0_age-by-age-guide-to-feeding-your-baby_1..., soft/pureed fruit is a big one for the first few months. As the baby gets older the foods change, fruits stays on the list, but the addition of other things are where we see the issues. Sadly, I treated other foods as if they were "adult-foods" but now I really see why fruit is so vital for us. Just because we're all grown up doesn't mean our insides are all grown up and "mature", I think their just as delicate as when were all babies. So my guess is that eating this way allows the body to bring itself back to a baby-like state, free from any dis-eases or illnesses.
