I just wanna say it is a dream of mine to go to the Woodstock Fruit Festival! It would be an amazing experience:)
So I am curious, have any of you gone to the festival? I would love to hear anything about it! Was the food amazing?( well obviously...) How were the activities? How was it being around so many people that were like minded?
Share your experience! Thank you! :)
I was going to make this year my first year at WFF after more than 3 years on this lifestyle. Due to Harley & Freelee getting demoted I am no longer attending. Very disappointed to say the least.
I know many of you don't want to ever go to the festival again, just because your favorite Pioneers won't be there. But was that really your only reason for wanting to go, so you can see them? Yes, they are amazing people and I would have loved to meet them too, but there is so much more to the festival then hanging out with them. It's about having this experience with thousands of other people who have the same views and ideas about the right way to live. I would say go to Woodstock regardless of who is going to be there and who is not.
I'm not going not because I don't get to meet Freelee & Harley; I'm not going because WFF has shown its true colors; i.e. that it is NOT a vegan festival. Veganism is far more important to me than being a part of some (expensive!) fruit-eating clique.
you miss the point. It's not about missing the opportunity to meet Harley and Freelee. (I hope and expect to do that eventually, but talking to them on line will do just fine for now). The reason that I (and, I suspect many others) are boycotting WFF is the rank hypocrisy and pettiness of the organisers. For me at least, WFF is now fatally flawed.
Yes, i agreee what WFF did is wrong, Freelee and Harley advocate an amazing lifestyle that people can relate to! Without them I wouldn't have started the HCRV lifestyle.
