30 Bananas a Day!

I find it helps me to make a list and keep it near so I can read it and remember why I'm eating this diet when I forget sometime. Dr. Graham said one time that you really need to know why you want to eat this way to be successful. Here is my list:
1. My joints feel their best. I use to have arthritis, with this diet arthritis is a thing of the past.
2. Best diet for my bones. I was diagnosed with osteoporosis and the doctors say to keep your body slightly alkaline, and fruits and veggies are the best for that.
3. My sinuses stay clear
4. I look my best, bags under my eyes go away, excess fat goes away.
5. Unpleasant body odor disappears.
6. Edema goes away
7. I'm happy no animals have to suffer for my food.
8. My doctors tell me I should ( I pick the right doctors) :-)
9. I really enjoy my food.

I'm sure there are more reasons, but that's all for now.

Excellent idea! I did this after I fell off the fruit wagon and was at my limit with feeling lousy. Now whenever a little cooked food thought creeps in or I'm having a challenging day, I pull out my list. Here are some:

 

Why?

 

-to embody the belief

-mental clarity

-to "contaminate" others with my 'joie de vivre'/bliss

-improved memory

-to inspire others

-to inspire myself

-to create more than I destroy

-to be an individual

-soft, smooth skin; no body odors

-perfect digestion

-to run faster, with less effort

-joint-pains gone

-to improve vision

-for deeper sleep

-a new sense of spirituality

-to dance more, to live more

-increased patience

-to connect with like-minded people

-to do as little harm as humanly possible (for my fellow living beings)

-for my decendants

-to crowd out all fear

-to heal from the past

-because it TASTES good, FEELs good

-to be more of myself................

I'm adding "I can eat as much as I want without getting fat." I used to eat all I wanted on cooked vegetarian and even cooked vegan and get fat, and then have to go on restrict calorie diets. No more of that. :-)
