Great video! One reason we home's cool our kids is because it teaches them to reach out in just the way you are talking about. They learn to reach out when they are trying to communicate with younger kids, adults and elderly folks as well as folks from different cultural backgrounds which they interact with all the time because they are home's cooled. So the neuro pathways that form as they grow are ones that bridge communication. On the opposite end you have kids that are locked into a classroom group of all one age for their entire education which is totally unnatural. This creates an atmosphere of competitiveness and comparison and those are the neuro pathways that tend to develop in these kids.
