This is my first day. Ate huge banana smoothie with papaya, dates, and strawberries, about to have some whole grain pasta with cooked tomatoes, onions and corn. Is this within the guidelines, not sure about what cooked foods are OK?

Oh oops, new here, didn't know of the high carb cooked group...
Thanks for the quick reply, I guess I will just skip it then. Had a few bites and it tastes kind of slimy and bland anyway. Will make another smoothie soon.
if you're gonna eat pasta, i would go with corn or brown rice pasta. it is gluten free and digests so much better!! i wouldn't eat any onions because they are pretty harsh on your body. corn is great, tomatoes are great. i am so happy that you have chosen this high carb lifestyle. congrats on your first day!! dont be super freaked out about being fully raw at this stage. i went high carb 6 months ago and i still have times when ill only eat fruit for a month then ill switch and eat fruit but cooked veggies at night. i just go with whatever feels good, tastes good, and is Low fat and Low sodium. those two are so so so important. if you wanna eat cooked foods, go with those pastas i mentioned before. also, potatoes, brown rice, and cooked veggies. for your pasta sauce, make sure to not add any salt or oil. that is paramount! other than that, take it easy, watch freelee the banana girl and durianrider's videos, and you will figure it all out. good luck, thanks for taking steps to better your health and the planet, and i hope you succeed on this lifestyle :)
