In the U.S: Coastal Florida, SoCal, or preferably central or south america, belize, costa rice, equador or brazil in particular.
I also have specific spots in SoCal that I prefer. Certain parts of San Diego County, Riverside County and San Bernadino counties are my preferences. There are parts of Arizona and New Mexico I would also consider. I would also like somewhere with temperate weather, clean air, close to mountains if not in the mountains and preferably not a huge city, although I wouldn't mind being near San Diego, L.A. or Miami.
Maybe someplace tropical or sub tropical and close to the seashore. After that, home is where the heart is.
I want to live somewhere warm. Sun-seeker speaking here. i lived in Miami for 4yrs and Australia for 1. I now live in Toronto. Miss the constant warmth, especially as summer is now ending.
But my dream is to live somewhere warm, tropical, where iI can grow fruit trees all year round, and have a nice garden... and a home covered in solar panels so I can be off the grid. :)
I have lived in the Miami, FL area for the past 11 years but was born and raised up North in Boston, MA where it tends to get extremely cold in the winter! One day I was outside shoveling snow for the fifth day in a row, up to my knees in snow and I threw my shovel down and said ENOUGH!! I am moving to Miami by next year and although I didn't have the money nor any idea HOW I was going to do it, I DID and I've been here since!
The point of this story is, if you want something with enough passion and decision, IT WILL HAPPEN!
Now I want to experience a move outside of the United States, where food and life are not so commercialized and I can eat fruits straight from the land without having to pay an arm and a leg to eat it! BEST OF LUCK!!
Moving there soon. Retiring and living off the land.
Subtropical, cheap, easy.
Sunny all year around.
