30 Bananas a Day!

I have a chest/throat/nose cold on account of the *really* poor air quality here (but who knows, could be detox or something). I'm coughing, blowing my nose constantly, head fogginess, etc.

When sick, what's the best way to approach your diet? I'm not keen on fasting and only drinking water... but should I cut out fats, or?

Don't cut out the little bit of fat you get. I make juice and vegetable broth. My favorite is pineapple juice when I feel down with a cold.
At the first signs of a cold I drink Ginger tea. Fresh juices would be good, lots of water, and extra rest. No medicine. Get well soon Simplicity.
