I feel like there isnt much to choose from when eating raw except smoothies,juice and herbal tea.Im getting kinda bored ): I would love to hear what are your favourite drink is , and especially at night when its cold , something creamy ? ( kind of like tea ) But vegan and Raw!? Or even just new recipes and ideas i should try :D
yeah i know , where i live theres not many coconuts around.. usually there thai coconut( white skined) there about $4. The cans are expensive aswell. i work at a fruit/vegetable shop and we have organic coconut water 330ml and there like $3. i wish i lived somewhere Tropical like Costa rika ): where there is hundreds or fruit and which is at good prices aswell.. one day though :D
Coconut water is one of my fave drinks on this diet. Datorade, cucumber smoothie, and water are all great too :)
When I am cold the only thing I am concerned about is getting warm. I boil water and drink it plain. I have tired lemons in it but don't care for sour things so I just drink plain hot water. Can't get use to the tea without sugar in it. I use to order it in restaurants and they would give me a funny look or ask me if I brought my own tea...LOL Sure hope you find something that your taste buds will enjoy.
Dateorade made with mozafati dates and warm water is very like hot chocolate, especially with a spoonful of carob or cocoa, if you're not opposed to that.
It's not warm, but a blenderful of orange juice with a handful of blueberries blended in is super tasty.
My fall on my knees when I drink Datorade, just sooooo goooooood :')
If you feel like something out of the ordinary and NOT SWEET, then try the raw, organic, healthy version of Vodka. Yup, you read it right! It tastes like one, has a kick of it too, but no detox the next day.
1 bunch of organic watercress (very pungent, part of the mustard family greens)
1 whole organic lemon peeled, sliced
1 large field or hot house English organic cucumber, sliced
Run through a masticating juicer to get most of the pure green goodness, and ENJOY!
As a side note: this drink is excellent to unplug sinuses of the skull, if you happened to have some plugged up, or just not breathing right.
As a former soda addict, I love to make my own "soda". I just take my favorite juice (cherry at the moment) and mix in some naturally sparkling mineral water... and BAM, cherry soda!
Well, I make a more liquid smoothie with very hot water and frozen bananas (if you blend it right after you add the water, the frozen bananas cool the water down so it doesn't cooke them)...sometimes I add some dates, blend it all up. I just had that 10min ago. It's the best on cold nights, because it is actually warm.
Oh thankyou, i am addicted to banana date smoothies for breeakfast , they are soo good :)
