30 Bananas a Day!

I would appreciate anybody's input on this one.
I guess it is hard to know what exactly one would do until one was in that situation.
I live in Australia and have never been bitten by a venomous snake.
But I have wondered what I would do in that situation.
I do not take any allopathic medicine, not for the last 28 years.
I know there are anti-venoms to snake bites, but in addition to being part of the allopathic medicine system, I don't know if they are vegan or if they are tested on animals.

If we were healthy, could we survive a poisonous snake bite?
Last year I was bitten by a Brown House Spider, which is middling poisonous. Though the bite was on the back of my neck, I got real pain in my leg muscles and felt very nauseous. I fasted and rested and was o.k in a few days.
I usually deal with bites by fasting.
I think we can avoid Snake bites by being careful and respectful, but if we do get bitten?

Any thoughts on this?

I've always wondered the same thing, i am curious to what people will say. Thanks for throwing it out there.
i often remove venomous snakes off the road. if i got bitten, id seek medical attention. its pretty rare though. more chance being in a plane crash and getting stranded like tom hanks in castaway..

most snake bites the snake doesnt even release venom. so even if we get bitten, its usually just a warning bite.

HOW MANY PEOPLE YOU KNOW HAVE BEEN BITTEN BY A SNAKE? and how many of them it was totally unprovoked? ie they werent trying to move it or pick it up..

ive touched some of the deadliest snakes in the world and i dont recomend it. its really ask'n for trouble but it impresses the onlookers! lol!

we leave snakes alone, and they leave us alone..
hahaha we'd be fighting for the fruit Trav! Survival of the fittest, we could make a new series.....oh wait there's about 100 of those survival programs on tv already....but actually no raw ones, could be a plan!;-P
Yeah leave em be, they want to live just as badly as we do!!
There is some research that snakes only bite people who eat cooked foods.
That is nonsense.
LOL

Thank you for the replies.
I agree that snakes tend to leave you alone, if you leave them alone.
Moth, sorry to hear about your experience, this is kind of what I was thinking, if one stepped on a snake by mistake! Cappi and I do a bit of walking in the bush, and we try keep our awareness out for snakes. They are such beautiful creatures.
Thanks again,
love and peace XX.
What treatment did they give you? Any reaction to it?
Hi Xerxes,
I feel no affinity with allopathic medicine and drugs, so I do not feel that I would want to take an anti-venom. I am also concerned that it may not even be vegan. I need to do more research. As with most things, prevention seems better than cure, so I need to respect snakes and tread carefully in their territory.
But if I did get bitten, I tend to think that I would not want to take anti-venom.
It would be interesting to know if anyone on a natural diet has got bitten by a venomous snake and has healed without drugs.
Love and peace XX.
Wow, thank you for this! Great info.! I have read that for any poisoning to chew up any greens around you and apply onto wound and the greens will suck out the poison. I wonder if this would work if you were bitten where you could not reach and weren't with someone, I guess this is another reason to always have a buddy with you. :)
