30 Bananas a Day!

I am doing research to bring the fruit to the masses. Please tell me what inspired you. How did you find this?

I have always been interested in nutrition since 2 years, since I wanted to lose weight, and finally after doing low carb and atkins diets which didn´t work for me, I stumbled over a book about raw food. I was very inspired by this natural way of eating and started a high fat raw diet (i wasn´t conscious that i was high fat). I had a lot of issues with bloating and looked for another option. Then I found the LFRV lifestyle, which is working much better for me.

"Left In The Dark" by Tony Wright and Graham Gynn

Maybe not superbly written :) but changed my perception of life for good.
I found out about raw vegan-ism & 80/10/10 through Liz's (LizYArtur) videos on youtube, I'd been subscribed to her beauty & health channel for ages. She led me to Alicia's (rawsynergytv) videos & when I heard Alicia talk about how 811 had healed her previous digestive & skin issues, as well as seeing LIz's positive results, I decided to go for it!

It's so sad that LizYArtur is no longer doing 811 and even sadder that she is no longer vegan....

New fruits appealed to me heaps. Searching for questions I had, and other things about fruit in general kept landing me on this site. I thought it was wacky. But loved the idea. Started reading into posts more often, loved the detail some people went into in regards to nutrition, the effect of different macro nutrients  on the body etc.  Loved Harleys videos, spent an undercarbed (but increasing in quantity) winter just watching all of his videos. I just kept thinking, this is so true, it rings so true with me. I got into permaculture at pretty much the same time. So I had these two awesome worlds developing inside me. I don't ever want to leave fruit world.
My first exposure to fruity living was when I met Tarah Shannon she told me about 811 so i gave the book shortly after that and it made a lot of sense to me but it took some time for me to be ready to try it out for myself

I studied Natural Hygiene back in the '90's.  Went raw. Got ridicule and scorn. Lost the weight, went off program and joined the masses back on SAD.  Struggled for years, got very ill and overweight again.  Started back last year on green smoothies and immediately went back to 100% raw organic produce.  Cleaned my system out and went back to 80/10/10.  Thriving not just surviving.
