starches seem to hold me longer. but i tend to stay raw all day then normally something starchy at dinner cuase i'm sick of sweets by then.

it depends what nutrient your body requires - satisfaction or satiation is when your body (your gut bacteria & immune system) is adequately fed for their survival at that moment in time.

in my opinion i could live without a potato but not a banana
