30 Bananas a Day!

I've had 3453 calories today and 906g of carbs all from bananas, mangos, and medjool dates. I was wondering if I don't burn it all off what happens to the extra energy and how does it not lead to weight gain? I'm not so worried about gaining weight, I'm just curious as to the science behind it.

My diet today with bananas, mangos, and dates is:

94.6% Carbs

2.1% Fat

3.2% Protein.

Any science or info on the matter would be great thanks!

I've been LFRV for 5 weeks not with no cooked food and nuts and seeds. Most of my calories are from fruits except the occasional romaine lettuce or spinach.

Thank you, so what if someone is high in amylase in blood?

You know all this how?? I think I love you!! ;)

6 pak can be hydration levels. 6 pak doesnt mean much. Eat salt and cover up a 6pak in a few hours easily.

Ive just had 3 weeks off due to injury. Only averaged about 3 hours a week of movement and still look like a Kenyan Marathoner on EPO despite eating all the calories I cared for. I did notice my appetite has gone down a lot after the first week. Fruit is just so non stimulating like msg, spiced, salted things are. It is a struggle to get enough daily cals for 99% of crew hence the big drop off rate.

drink more.

Awesome, thanks for the info guys! Really appreciate it, so I'm assuming with the low fat and protein percentage it won't be stored as fat correct? Since "the fat we eat is the fat we wear" I'm assuming?

Danny, great question and one that I'll read the replies on.  I do know that it is important to get your greens in also.  I don't see where you had any in your eats today.  Do you eat or drink any greens???  That is a necessary part of 811rv.

Yeah I usually have a pound of greens but I recently ran out of them. I'll get some more in tomorrow.

Danny, best not to leave out the greens.  You'll start craving salt or worse.  We need the balance in our diet daily.  When I grocery shop, as I did today, I make certain I come home with a minimum of 7 lbs of greens and mostly 9.

This is really great info.  Since you all know so much, would anyone here be able to also share how the fat loss happens from the science point of view?  I'm happy with my slow and steady progress... just like Danny I am curious.  It doesn't appear to be from restricting calories (since we don't do that) or from exercising more calories away than consumed.  I love this lifestyle and am so over restricting calories.  Just curious.  Would also be nice to be able to explain it to people who think that no one could lose weight eating so many calories.

Read the China Study for some of the science in back of some of this.

That really won't help you with the criticisms and poo-pooing element from the masses.  What will help you and them is concrete results!  Best darn "scientific proof" available.

If Durian rider says to never restrict calories to loose body fat but the above science explanation suggests that in order to burn body fat for energy, you must deplete your bodies glucose and glycogen supplies, someones wrong?

Sure you might not put on fat but how are you meant to burn it off if your bodies always in energy surplus?

Your body adipose (fat) tissue is not just sitting there. Fat, like protein, are actually constantly recycled: fatty acids are leased and could be used for fuel. If not used then resynthesied into to TG (tryglicerides) and end up inthe adipose tissue again.

In addition, some organas and tissues actually run mainly on fat, e.g. heart over 50% of energy gets from fatty acids, this could be even higher at night.

So it is not true that you only burn fat when your glycogen stores are depleted.

Also in some textbooks say that Fat burn in the flame of carbohydrates in other words in order to burn fat you need carbohydrate.

However, I do not think that overweight ppl need to start eating tons of food to loose weight. Sure they need to eat enough, to have energy to be active, but not to stuff themselves like 'pigs' by holiday table.
