30 Bananas a Day!

Bananas are helping me out a lot on my spendings since they're pretty cheap. I've been thinking of having ALL my fruit meals be based off bananas, with another fruit added in. Other fruits I have found to be a bit expensive, and really watery, which makes me full very fast and I end up not reaching my caloric goal. I can eat a lot of bananas and feel verryy satisfied and my tummy takes it well.

So what fruits should I NOT be combining with bananas??

gracias chicos :)

have to asay something about the chart here. in general it´s all great, but it´s absolutely not true that all dried fruits are sweet fruit and those which are not don´t act like sweet fruit. i´m talking from my own experience here. for instance dried pineapple is extremely acid in the stomach although it might tastes sweet, if i combine such with bananas, omg - not good :((

same goes for dried mangoes that are not super sweet, acid as well, lots of problems!!!

agreed on the dried fruits.

I like never eat them. Except for dates. Not a lot of them though. When I eat dried mango or other fruit i can't seem to chew it well enough to digest good in my stomach. It gets stuck all over my teeth and I just don't get the pleasure of eating them as I do with a mouthful of nice juicy plump soft fruit.

ahh great thanks! I needed more examples of "sweet fruits"

nice chart. I think I will print this :D

That is a really helpful chart. Thanks! <3

bananas combine best with dates, figs and other similar sweet fruits. mangoes and apricots are also ok if they´re very sweet and not acid. i have to watch fruit combining myself pretty consciously, but there are some people who can handle the combination of bananas and acid fruit without bigger problems. try different variations and see what your reaction is like!
Definitely oranges...I decided to try a trial run of mixing acidic fruits with bananas and it was not at all pleasant. I had severe stomach pains.
I suggest learn the food combining rules, acid combines with sub-acid, sweet combines with sub-acid, but sweet does not combine well with acid. Then when you are feeling brave try some experiments. I just drank a large banana/pineapple smoothie, yum, love it and it doesn't bother me. Both fruits were super ripe.
